OnePlus joins the race of affordable 10,000 mAH power bank

Its their first anniversary and they are celebrating it in style. OnePlus has launched a 10,000 mAH power bank at a very affordable price and good news for you folks is they would be giving away few marking this occasion. Now speaking of the Powerbank., the power-bank is made up of Lithium-Polymer batteries having dimensions of 142.8 × 72.6 × 16.2 mm. It has 2 nos. of 5V-2A output and one 5V/2A input for charging two devices at a time. OnePlus says that the powerbank would get fully charged in around 5-6 hours.

The device looks sleek and had a curved edge on one side.It also has the company’s embedded logo on top right. There is no such physical buttons in this device and the charging LED/ Battery indicator lit up with a shake.


Xiaomi too have a similar power bank which they call the MI Power Bank. The Xiaomi made power bank just had one output and the device was a bit heavy and thick as compared to the OnePlus Power Bank.

The OnePlus Power Bank comes in Silk White and Sandstone Black colors and will be available for USD14.99 / EUR 15.99 from the official online store early 2015.

Meanwhile the OnePlus might face some trouble in India due to Micromax-Cyanogen Inc exclusive deal which won’t allow the company to sell Cyanogen branded Phablet in the country. Read the full story here.
