Nokia N1 tablet goes on sale in Taiwan. The tablet made by Foxconn under the brand name of Nokia is finally available outside China.


The Nokia N1 announced back in November last year went on sale in China in January 2015. Now, the tablet is available in Taiwan via online retailer iSunfa. It is priced at TWD 8199 (US $269 / INR Rs 17,100 approximately). There is no information on global availability yet.

Nokia N1 Specifications

The Nokia N1 tablet features a 7.9-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen is fully laminated with zero air-gap display and has 321 pixels per inch. It is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM (800 MHz) and comes with 32 GB of internal memory. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Nokia’s Z launcher on top of it.


The Nokia N1 tablet comes with a 8-megapixel auto-focus rear primary camera which can shoot 1080p videos. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is just 6.9 mm thick which makes it quite slim as well and weighs 318 grams.

The Nokia N1 includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 with a Type C reversible connector as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 5,300 mAh lithium polymer battery under the hood. There are a couple of sensors (6-axis Gyroscope & Accelerometer), two speakers and a digital mic.
