HMD Global launches Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 Android phones in India

HMD Global has officially launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 Android phones in India today. The Nokia 6 was unveiled in China back in January this year, while the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 made an appearance at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona back in February. The Nokia 3 features a 5.0-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla glass display, that has a pixel density of 294 PPI and 450 nits of brightness. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor along with Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.

The Nokia 3 rocks a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm sensor for clicking selfies and making video calls. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a polycarbonate body, that is 8.48mm thick.

The Nokia 3 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2650mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood.

The Nokia 5 features a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla glass display, that has a pixel density of 282 PPI and 500 nits of brightness. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box.

The Nokia 5 rocks a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, which can shoot Full HD videos. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens for clicking selfies and making video calls. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has a polycarbonate body, that is 8.05mm thick.

The Nokia 5 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3000mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood.

Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS

The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, that has a pixel density of 403 PPI, 450 nits of brightness and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (Quad 1.2GHz Cortex A53 + Quad 1.5GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The phablet runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box.

The Nokia 6 rocks a 16 megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 1.0µm sensor, which can shoot Full HD videos. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.12µm sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens, that can click great selfies in low light conditions and make video calls. It supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD card), comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual speakers (top and bottom), Dual smart amplifiers (TFA9891) and Dolby Atmos for an awesome audio experience. It has a fingerprint sensor embedded into its home button, that can unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds. It has an aluminium alloy unibody design that is 7.8mm thick.

The Nokia 6 includes 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS and USB OTG as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3000mAh battery (non-removable) under the hood.

HMD Global launches Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 Android phones in India

The Nokia 3 is available in Silver White, Matte Black, Copper White and Tempered Blue colors. It is priced at Rs. 9,499 and will go on sale exclusively via offline retail stores from June 16. The Nokia 5 is available in Matte Black, Silver, Copper and Tempered Blue color. It is priced at Rs. 12,899, pre-booking will start on July 7 and will go on sale exclusively via offline retail stores. The Nokia 6 is available in Tempered Blue, Copper, Matte Black and Silver colors. It is priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be sold exclusively via Amazon India. Registrations for flash sale of Nokia 6 will start from July 14, 2017.

According to HMD Global, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will be sold via 400 exclusive distributors with 80,000+ retail reach. Nokia will also provide Nokia Mobile Care support in 300 cities along with Pick up Drop services in 100 cities.
