New leak hints at HTC’s new device featuring a huge camera

CES 2015 is about to begin in a week and rumors have started surfacing. A weibo user reported that HTC has started sending invite for its CES 2015 event. The user also provided an image which hints the launch of their upcoming device.

HTC-CES-2015-inviteAccording to the above image, the device should boast a powerful camera of much higher pixel density. The image also has a splash of various colors which can also hint the availability of the device in many color variants. Most importantly the time in the above picture shows 1:05 which can also hint a date i.e. 5th of January, a day before the commencement of CES 2015. This can be the day when HTC is planning to schedule their event.

According to the previous leaks, HTC was working on HTC One  M9, codenamed as Hima. This device is expected to feature a 5-inch Full HD screen and would run on latest Snapdragon 810 SoC backed up by 3GB of RAM. It will feature a 20.7-megapixel rear camera and either a 13-megapixel or 4-ultrapixel front facing camera. It will have a 2,840 mAh power house and it will come with Android 5.0 out of box with Sense 7.0 on top of it. HTC will be soon rolling out the Lollipop update for its previous Flagship devices soon.

We believe more leaks would surface in the coming few days till then we cannot comment what exactly is the company planning to do. Apart from that, HTC is also planning to launch budget friendly 4G LTE smartphones this coming year, do read the full story here.
