New HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM phablet launched in India for Rs 26900

A new HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM has been launched in India. The older variant is already available in India since April.


One of the most noticeable and subtle change in the new variant is its 4 ultrapixel front-facing camera. Lets go through the complete specifications.

New HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM Specifications

The New HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by an octa-core (1.5 GHz & 1.0 GHz) Snapdragon 615 processor which comes with Adreno 405 GPU. The Desire 826 comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. The latest Desire smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC’s Sense custom UI on top.

On the camera front, the HTC Desire 826 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture, BSI sensor, 28 mm lens and LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos as well. It has a 4 Ultrapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and wide-angle lens for your selfies and video calling. The phablet is 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs only 183 grams. The HTC Desire 826 comes with dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers and Dolby audio. It has dual SIM (nano) on board.

The HTC Desire 826 comes with 4G LTE (Cat4), 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet has a 2,600 mAh battery under the hood.

The New HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM is available in Purple Fire, Blue Lagoon and White Birch colour variants and has been priced at Rs 26,900. It will go on sale across India by the end of June.
