Motorola to upgrade Moto series of devices with Android Lollipop

Google has confirmed the next iteration of Android at Google I/O and officially named it Android Lollipop. It has also announced the new Nexus 6 smartphone and Nexus 9 tablet via its blog post. In response to the Android Lollipop, Motorola has also shared a great news among its fans.

Motorola has confirmed the news that all the Moto series devices, the Moto E, Moto G (1st Generation and 2nd Generation), Moto X (1st Generation and 2nd Generation) are eligible for Android Lollipop update. Even devices like Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini are eligible for the upgrade. Motorola has promised to bring fast upgrade to these devices for the ‘Pure Android Experience’.

What’s new in Android Lollipop, check it out here.

The company haven’t announced any time frame in which they would be upgrading the previous set of software. So we will have to wait until they release the new software for all. We expect it to be happening before this year or so. All the devices would get the Android Lollipop upgrade around the same time. So until there isn’t any confirmation, do sit back and relax.
