Motorola Moto X Play on Flipkart available from September 15 with launch day offers

Today, Motorola India announced the latest Moto X device in India – the Moto X Play. The phablet exclusively goes on sale today (September 15) on Flipkart in India starting at midnight. It also comes with great launch day offers and we should check them out now.


The Moto X Play has been priced at Rs 18,499 for the 16GB variant and Rs 19,999 for the 32GB variant in India. It goes on sale exclusively on Flipkart today (September 15) at 12:00 am. It is available in both black and white color variants. To celebrate the launch, Motorola is bringing some special offers starting at midnight today and lasting until September 20, 2015.

Motorola Moto X Play Specifications

The Motorola Moto X Play features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a pixel density of 403 ppi. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4 x 1.1 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.7 Cortex A53) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and has 16 / 32 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with Moto Display, Moto Voice, Moto Assist and Moto Actions features on top of stock Android, to enhance the experience.

The smartphone rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a water-repellent coating but isn’t water-resistant like the new Moto G 3rd Gen. It is 8.9 – 10.9 mm (curve) thick and weighs 169 grams. It comes with Dual SIM (nano) support.

On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It packs in a 3,630 mAh battery under the hood, which promises up to 48 hours of battery life with mixed usage. It supports quick charging and comes bundled with the Motorola TurboPower 25 Charger.
