Motorola Moto X Force with shatterproof display launched in India, price starts at Rs 49999

Motorola Moto X Force has been officially launched in India today at an event in New Delhi. Moto X Force is the global name of the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 and it comes with Moto ShatterShield that makes it the world’s first shatterproof display. Lets check out the other specifications.


Motorola Moto X Force Specifications

The Motorola Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display that comes with Moto ShatterShield to make the display shatterproof. It has a pixel density of 540 ppi. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 / 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and is upgradable to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Moto X Force rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 4K videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 87-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is 7.6 – 9.2 mm (curve) thick and weighs 169 grams. According to Motorola India, the display of the Moto X Force is guaranteed to not crack or shatter for up to 4 years.


On the connectivity front, the Moto X Force comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC. It packs in a 3,760 mAh battery under the hood. It supports Turbo charging, PMA and Qi wireless charging.

The Motorola Moto X Force is available in Black and Grey with Ballistic Nylon finish and White color variants and has been priced at Rs 49,999 for 32GB storage whereas the 64GB variant will cost Rs 53,999 in India. It will start selling via Flipkart, Amazon India, Spice Hotspot and Croma from February 8, 2016.
