Motorola had launched the DROID Turbo 2 couple of days back for Verizon, which comes with Moto ShatterShield that makes it the world’s first shatterproof display. The company has now announced that the same device will be launched globally as Motorola Moto X Force. The specifications remain same but lets check them out once again.
Motorola Moto X Force Specifications
The Motorola Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display that comes with Moto ShatterShield to make the display shatterproof. It has a pixel density of 540 ppi. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 / 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and is upgradable to the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Moto X Force rocks a 21 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. It can shoot 4K videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 87-degree wide-angle lens, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is 7.6 – 9.2 mm (curve) thick and weighs 169 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Moto X Force comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band) with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC. It packs in a 3,760 mAh battery under the hood. It supports Turbo charging, PMA and Qi wireless charging.
The Motorola Moto X Force is available in Black Ballistic Nylon color and has optional Moto Maker customization depending on the market it is being launched. It will be rolled out in Latin America, EMEA and APAC regions starting this November. However, we do not have details about its pricing yet.
