List of Moto X (2nd Gen) available on Flipkart
The new Moto X (2nd Gen) (it isn’t called Moto X+1) has been designed with a sense of style and balance which features a curved metal frame. The smartphone has a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) OLED display which has a pixel density of 423 ppi. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover on top of it. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974-AC quad-core processor which comes with 2 GB of RAM.
The smartphone will run on the latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, giving you the vanilla Android experience with no bloatware and will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has 16/32 GB of internal storage (ROM). There is no microSD card slot for expanding the memory though. The phone weighs 144 grams and is 9.97 mm thick. It has front-facing speakers at the bottom.
On the camera specifications, the new Moto X has a 13-megapixel rear camera which can shoot 4K videos. It has some new features like voice control, a mode that takes multiple exposures and automatically selects the “best” shot based on smiles, motion blur, whether subjects’ eyes are open, and so on. According to The Verge, the camera is exceptionally fast and with almost zero lag, though it needs to tested extensively. It has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for your selfie needs and can also shoot videos at 1080p.
On the connectivity options, the new Moto X comes with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and more. It has a 2300 mAh battery under the hood which is a little disappointing but we need to test it to give our final verdict.
