Motorola Moto Maxx is soon coming to India exclusively on Flipkart. The e-commerce giant Flipkart teased the launch of a new Motorola device on their social pages. Motorola also has some “exciting announcement” for USA on February 25.
The Flipkart teaser has a Motorola logo with a caption mentioning “Get Your Life Turbocharged. Accelerated Performance. Ballistic Nylon Fairing. Revving in Soon.” This indicates Moto Maxx launched in Brazil, the global variant of the Motorola Droid Turbo (USA) will be launching in India exclusively on Flipkart. The Moto Maxx is available in Black Ballistic Nylon back. Lets have a look at the specifications of the device.
Motorola Moto Maxx Specifications
The Moto Maxx features a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display which has 565 ppi and also comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) processor with 600 MHz Adreno 420 GPU. The smartphone comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 64 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.
The Moto Maxx comes with a 21-megapixel auto-focus rear primary camera with dual LED flash and has f/2.0 aperture. It is also capable of recording 4K videos. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The new beast from Motorola is 8.3-11.2 mm thick because of its curved body and weighs 176 grams. It is also water-resistant.
The Motorola Moto Maxx includes 4G LTE/3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (dual band) a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a whopping 3,900 mAh battery under the hood which promises up to 48 hours of battery life with above average usage. The Motorola Turbo Charger also promises eight hours of power in just a 15 minute charge.
The Moto Maxx is available in Black Ballistic Nylon colour variant and has been priced at 2199 Brazilian Real which is INR Rs 48,100 approximately based on current conversion rate. We do not have information on the exact launch date or pricing yet but we are expecting more details from Motorola India and Flipkart soon.
