Motorola has officially introduced the new Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus at an event in Delhi today, as expected. Lets take a look at the specifications and features of the Motorola Moto G4 here.

Motorola Moto G4 Specifications

The Motorola Moto G4 features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has a pixel density of 401 PPI. The Moto Display now comes with swipe to unlock and swipe to dismiss features. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (Quad 1.5 GHz + Quad 1.2 GHz) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The Moto G4 rocks a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and Full HD 1080p video recording. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It also has water-repellent nano-coating.

The Moto G4 includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood with Turbo Charging support, which will offer 6 hours of usage with just 15 minutes of charging.

Motorla Moto G4

The Motorola Moto G4 will be available in Black and White color variants. It will go on sale in India starting next month and Motorola has not disclosed its price yet. However, the Motorola Moto G4 Plus will go on sale in the country starting from Midnight of May 18, exclusively on Amazon India. It has been priced at Rs 13,499 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM variant and Rs 14,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32 GB ROM model.
