Motorola Moto G4 and G4 Plus specifications leaked ahead of launch

Motorola India has scheduled a media event on May 17 in Delhi, where the company is expected to launch the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. Both the smartphone’s specifications were leaked but a new leak has revealed that they will feature Laser Auto Focus and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipsets. Lets check out the latest rumoured specifications of the Moto G4 and G4 Plus (codename – Athena).

The Moto G4 will feature a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display that is protected by Corning Gorilla glass. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) 64-bit processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. It will come with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The Moto G4 will rock a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Laser Auto Focus and Full HD 1080p video recording. On the front, it will have a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5693 sensor for selfies and video calling. It will come with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio and will be water-resistant. It will support Dual SIM (depending on region).

The Moto G4 will include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB OTG, NFC (optional) and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet will pack in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.
