Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition officially launched in India for Rs 14499

Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition has been officially launched in India today. It was announced in Mexico back in November. Lets check out the specifications of the smartphone.


Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition Specifications

The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. It comes with 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with Moto Display, Quick Capture and Chop Twice features on top of stock Android to enhance the experience.

The Moto G Turbo rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and IR filters. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 72-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. It is also IP67 certified, which makes it water-resistant up to 3 feet for 30 minutes and dust resistant. It supports Dual SIM (micro), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 6.1-11.6 mm thick and weighs 155 grams.


On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS. It packs in a 2,470 mAh battery under the hood that supports Turbo charging. With the bundled 15W Turbo Charger, the phone can be used up to 6 hours with just 15 minutes of charging.

The Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition is available in Black with DeepSea Blue back and White color variants and has been priced at Rs 14,499. It is now exclusively selling via Flipkart in India.

Motorola India will be launching the Moto X Force in the country in January, 2016.
