Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen has been finally announced in India, as expected, at an event in Delhi. Lets check out the specifications of the smartphone.

The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor. It comes with 1 / 2 GB of RAM and 8 / 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with Moto Display, Quick Capture and Chop Twice features on top of stock Android to enhance the experience.
The Moto G 3rd Gen rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and IR filters. It can shoot 1080p Full HD videos. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It is also IPX7 certified, which makes it water-resistant up to 3 feet for 30 minutes. It supports Dual SIM and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio.
On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It packs in a 2,470 mAh battery under the hood.
The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen is available in Black and White colour variants. It has been priced at Rs 11,999 for 1GB RAM + 8 GB variant and the 2GB RAM + 16GB model costs Rs 12,999. It is going on sale exclusively on Flipkart in India at midnight tomorrow (July 29) with exciting launch day offers. Many vibrant colour removable back and flip covers to be sold separately.
