As we already know, Motorola is about to launch the new Moto G 3rd Gen along with Moto X 3rd Gen on July 28. Now, more details are emerging about the Moto G as it has been imported in India for testing purpose.
The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen (XT1550) has been imported for testing purpose, according to a listing on Zauba. It shows that 95 units each of White and Black colour variant has been imported to Bangalore from Hong Kong. Another two units came in from China as well.
According to MobileSyrup, they have spotted a dummy unit of the Moto G, which has also revealed various features and specifications. It has revealed that this edition of Moto G will be IPX7 certified, which will make it water-resistant. It has also confirmed 2 GB RAM on board along with 8GB internal storage.
Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen Specifications
The Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen will feature a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, to be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. It will come with 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
It will rock a 13 megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will pack in a 2,470 mAh battery under the hood and have 4G LTE support. It might even add Moto maker customization like the Moto X.
