Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen now costs Rs 9999 in India after price cut

Motorola is feeling the heat in India or will it be launching a new Moto G soon, as spotted. Whatever it may be, Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen is now available at Rs 9,999 in India.

Motorola launched the Moto G 2nd Gen exclusively on Flipkart in India for Rs 12,999. Now, after getting a Rs 3,000 price cut, it is selling at Rs 9,999. It is available in White and Black colour variant on Flipkart.

Recently, there has been an influx of Chinese brands in India, who have captured a fair percentage of the budget market share. Xiaomi recently slashed the price of Mi 4, Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 2. Lenovo, owner of Motorola, has launched the K3 Note in India, priced at just Rs 9,999. It has better specifications than the Moto G. However, Motorola still has a brand name and consumers buy it to experience uncluttered stock Android and also get future updates.
