Motorola India has officially launched the new Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch in India, as expected. It comes in two different variants – one for men (46mm body with 1.56-inch display) and another for women (42 mm body with 1.37-inch display).
Moto 360 2nd Gen Specifications and Features
The Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen comes in two different display sizes – a 1.56-inch (360 x 230 pixels) display with a pixel density of 233 ppi, enclosed in a 46 mm body and a 1.37-inch (360 x 225 pixels) with a pixel density of 263 ppi, enclosed in a 42 mm body. Both these variants are 11.5 mm thick, exactly similar to last year’s model. The bigger variant has a 400 mAh battery and the smaller one comes with a 300 mAh battery. Motorola is promising up to two days of usage.
The Moto 360 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, comes with 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of eMMC storage that is not expandable. It runs on Android Wear OS that is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and above. Now, Android smartwatches also work with iPhones.
The Moto 360 2nd Gen comes with a heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor (lower part of the display, “flat tire” design) and comes with dual microphones. It is IP67 certified and that makes with water-resistant as well. It has Bluetooth and WiFi but does not come with NFC or a built-in speaker.
The Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen has been priced at Rs 19,999 for the 42mm gold with leather band variant, whereas the metal band version will cost Rs 22,999 in India. The 46mm metal band model costs Rs 23,999. All the above models are now exclusively available on Flipkart and Myntra.
