Motorola India has sent out media invites for an event in India, which will take place on May 17 in New Delhi. The invite does not reveal any details about the devices to be launched, but we are expecting them to launch the new Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones. Earlier, the company had launched the Moto G 3rd Gen in June last year at an event in India. Lets check out the rumoured specifications of the Moto G4 and G4 Plus.

Motorola India May 17 Event Invite

Moto G4 and G4 Plus Rumoured Specifications

Both Motorola G4 and G4 Plus are expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (likely). They will come with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card but we do not know about the RAM capacity yet. The Moto G4 is expected to rock a 13 megapixel rear primary camera whereas the Moto G4 Plus might come with a 16 megapixel rear camera. Both of them will come with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

When it comes to the fingerprint sensor, the G4 Plus will have a fingerprint sensor embedded on to its home button but the smaller variant will give it a miss. Both of them will include a metal frame but come with a plastic back, which can be interchanged with colorful back covers. Otherwise, they are expected to be available in Black and White color variants.

Motorola Moto G4 Plus Leaked

We do not know the processing prowess of these devices yet but can expect Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, if we consider their market trend. These upcoming Motorola smartphones are rumoured to be priced at €240 (US $275 / INR Rs 18,249 approximately) and €280 (US $321 / INR Rs 21,290 approximately), respectively. We will get more information on these upcoming Motorola devices in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for the same.
