The Moto G 3rd Gen went on sale from July 29 midnight itself but those two smartphones did not launch yet. However, that could change soon as the Moto X Play has been imported for testing purpose in India.
A Zauba listing points out that 40 units of the Black and 40 units of the White variant have been imported to Bangalore from China on August 21. Pricing of each unit has a value of Rs 22,228 (US $332 approximately). It is surely not the final retail price as factors like taxes and import duties has to accounted into the final pricing. As Motorola India has imported units for testing purpose, we are expecting the company to launch the Moto X Play in India soon. As a matter of fact, it goes on sale in UK tomorrow and is already selling in Canada now, priced starting around $300.
