Microsoft, as expected, has unveiled the Lumia 535 today. This Lumia smartphone becomes the first model to carry the “Microsoft Lumia” branding and also signals the end of Nokia Lumia smartphones.
Microsoft Lumia 535 features a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) LCD display. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Lumia 535 will have 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone weighs 146 grams and is 8.8 mm in thickness.
On the camera front, Lumia 535 will come with a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and 28 mm lens. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 24 mm wide angle lens (just like the Lumia 730 and Lumia 735) for your selfies and video calling.
The Lumia 535 comes with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/aGPS as connectivity options. The smartphone is powered by a 1,905 mAh battery under the hood and will definitely run on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim. Lumia 535 is a single SIM smartphone but also has a dual SIM variant called Lumia 535 Dual SIM.
The Microsoft Lumia 535 and Lumia 535 Dual SIM will come in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey and black colour variants. The smartphone has been priced at 110 Euros (USD 135 / Rs 8400 apporximately). The company will be rolling the Lumia 535 in China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh first at the end of Novemeber which will be followed by launch in other countries.
