Microsoft Surface Pro 3 officially launched in India for Rs 73990

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has also been launched in India today, along with the Surface Pro 4. Lets check out the specifications, features and pricing of the hybrid 2 in 1 tablet.


Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Specifications

The Microsoft Surface 3 features a 12-inch (2160 x 1440 pixels) 3:2 ClearType Full HD 10-point multi-touch display with Pen input. It is powered by 4th Gen Core i3 processor. It comes with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and has 128 GB of internal memory.

On the camera front, the Pro 3 comes with a 5 megapixel front and 1080p HD rear cameras for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras can record Full HD 1080p videos. The Surface Pro 3 runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box. It has stereo speakers with Dolby audio enhanced sound along with built-in front and rear-facing microphones. It also has TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module) chip for enterprise security.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Full USB 3.0, Mini Display port, Micro USB charging port, microSD card reader and Headset jack as connectivity options. Microsoft promises battery life of up to 9 hours of web browsing with a 5547 mAh battery under the hood.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has been priced at Rs 73,990 for the Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It is the only variant of Surface Pro 3 that is available in India. It will be sold exclusively via Amazon India starting from January 14 and you can pre-order the device starting today. Accessories like Type Cover and Surface Pen will be sold separately for Rs 12,490 and Rs 5,990, respectively.
