Microsoft Lumia 950 XL phablet has been officially launched at an event in New York today, as expected. It is the latest flagship device from Microsoft that runs on the latest Windows 10 OS. Lets check out the specifications.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL features a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440) QHD AMOLED display that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and has a pixel density of 518 ppi. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor along with Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and has 32 GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD card. It runs on Windows 10 out of the box.
The Lumia 950 XL rocks a 20 megapixel PureView rear camera with triple RGB LED flash, ZEISS optics and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It can record 4K videos. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. The front shooter is capable of recording 1080p videos. It has a Dual SIM variant (region dependent) as well. It is 8.1 mm thick and weighs 165 grams.
On the connectivity front, the Lumia 950 XL comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (Dual Band) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type C port. It packs in a 3,340 mAh removable battery under the hood that supports wireless fast charging with flip cover. You can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes. It also comes with liquid cooling technology to cool down the device.
The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM is available in Black color and price starts at US $649 (INR Rs 42,282 approximately). It goes on sale in select markets starting this November 2015. The company has also announced the Lumia 950 and Lumia 550.
