Microsoft Lumia 650 running on Windows 10 now on sale in UK and Europe

Microsoft Lumia 650 and Lumia 650 Dual SIM were officially announced last week and it went on pre-order in Europe as well. Starting today, the Lumia 650 goes on sale in UK and Europe. Lets get through the specifications of the smartphone once again.


Microsoft Lumia 650 Specifications

The Microsoft Lumia 650 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720) HD AMOLED, ClearBlack display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. It runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box.

The Lumia 650 rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and auto-focus. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras shoot 720p videos. The body is made up of a metal frame which is just 6.9 mm thick and weighs 122 grams. It supports Dual SIM (only in Lumia 650 Dual SIM), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.

On the connectivity front, the Lumia 650 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS/aGPS. It packs in a 2,000 mAh removable battery under the hood.


The Microsoft Lumia 650 is available in matte white and matte black color variants and has been priced at £159.99 (INR Rs 15,721 approximately) including VAT. It can be purchased in United Kingdom from Clove UK, Carphone Warehouse and the Microsoft Store. In Europe, it will cost €229 (INR Rs 17,518 approximately) from the Microsoft Store or €239 (INR Rs 18,285 approximately) depending on the country. There is no information on Asian (India) roll out yet.
