Microsoft Lumia 650 now available in USA and Canada

Microsoft Lumia 650 has finally started selling in USA and Canada. The budget smartphone was unveiled back in February and it went on sale in UK and Europe after few days as well. It costs US $199 or CAD $199 and you will get an unlocked SIM-free unit. Consumers can also oder it from the Microsoft official online store – USA and Canada. Lets now have a recap of the specifications to refresh our memory.


Microsoft Lumia 650 Specifications

The Microsoft Lumia 650 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720) HD AMOLED, ClearBlack display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. It runs on Windows 10 OS out of the box.

The Lumia 650 rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and auto-focus. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras shoot 720p videos. The body is made up of a metal frame which is just 6.9 mm thick and weighs 122 grams. It supports Dual SIM (only in Lumia 650 Dual SIM), comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.


On the connectivity front, the Lumia 650 comes with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS/aGPS. It packs in a 2,000 mAh removable battery under the hood.
