Microsoft is about to unveil new Lumia devices at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 and we are seeing leaked images of the upcoming devices already. It looks like Microsoft is all set to launch the Lumia 640 and also the Lumia 1330 on March 2 at MWC 2015 in Barcelona.
Microsoft Lumia 640 Specifications
The Microsoft Lumia 640 will feature a 5-inch qHD (1280 x 720 pixels) LCD display. The smartphone will be powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. It will come with 1 GB of RAM and have 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the Lumia 640 will have a 8.7 megapixel rear camera and a 0.9 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will support dual SIM and integrate sports integrated digital television (DTV).
The Lumia 640 will come with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/aGPS and NFC as connectivity options. The smartphone will definitely run on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim and be upgradable to Windows 10. The Lumia 640 will reportedly be priced around US $275.
The Redmond Giant is coming up with a new browser called Spartan on Windows 10. They would also launch Surface Hub to reignite group computing. The most interesting concept which was shown in the recent Windows 10 event is the HoloLens. Microsoft has recently launched Lumia 435 Dual SIM and Lumia 532 which went on sale in India.
