Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM has been announced. It is the latest Lumia in town and also the successor of last year’s Lumia 535 Dual SIM. The company also recently launched Lumia 430 Dual SIM, the cheapest Lumia phone yet. Lets have a look at the specifications.
Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM Specifications
The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM features a 5-inch qHD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS LCD display. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and has 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on Windows 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim and should be upgradable to Windows 10 OS.
On the camera front, the Lumia 540 Dual SIM comes with a 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 28 mm lens. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling. It comes with Dual SIM support, a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. The smartphone weighs 152 grams and is 9.35 mm thick.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM comes with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/aGPS as connectivity options. The smartphone is powered by a 2,200 mAh battery under the hood.
The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual will be available in white, black, orange and cyan colour variants and has been priced at US $149 (INR Rs 9,290 approximately). It will go on sale in India, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and Italy from early May 2015.
