Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM announced in India for Rs 9199

Microsoft Lumia 535 dual SIM has now been officially announced in India, as expected. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 9,199 and will be available from November 28. It is the first Lumia with Microsoft branding.


Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM features a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Lumia 535 Dual SIM will have 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone weighs 146 grams and is 8.8 mm in thickness. The device runs on Windows 8.1 along with the Lumia Denim update.

On the camera front, Lumia 535 Dual SIM comes with a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and 28 mm lens. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well with 24 mm wide-angle lens (just like the Lumia 730 and Lumia 735) for better selfies and video calling.

The Lumia 535 Dual SIM comes with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/aGPS as connectivity options. The smartphone is powered by a 1,905 mAh battery under the hood.

Microsoft is bundling freebies for the Lumia 535 buyers which will include 500 MB free 2G/3G data for Vodafone users for two months. You can shop for Rs 6,000 worth purchases from Jabong over 3 months along with Rs 600 (Rs 150 per month) worth recharge on Paytm. You will also get eBooks worth Rs 1,500 from Flipkart and BoxTV subscription for 2 months worth Rs 720.

The Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM will come in cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey and black colour variants. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 9,199 and will be available all over India from November 28.
