Microsoft announces Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual SIM budget smartphones

Microsoft today unveiled their most affordable smartphone, the Lumia 435 and look like they have more for the budget segment. Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual SIM smartphones are now officially announced by the company. This is the third ‘Microsoft Lumia branded’ smartphone after the Lumia 535. Let us look at the specifications of the smartphones.


Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual Specifications

The Microsoft Lumia 532 features a 4-inch qHD (800 x 480 pixels) LCD display. The smartphone is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and has 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone weighs 136.3 grams and is 11.6 mm in thickness.

On the camera front, the Lumia 532 comes with a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera. It has a VGA front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio as well.

The Lumia 532 comes with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/aGPS as connectivity options. The smartphone is powered by a 1,560 mAh battery under the hood with up to 12 hours of talk time and definitely runs on Windows 8.1 with Lumia Denim. Lumia 532 is a single SIM smartphone but also has a dual SIM variant called Lumia 532 Dual SIM.

The Microsoft Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual SIM will be available in white, black, bright green and bright orange colour variants which has been priced at only 79 Euros (USD 93/INR Rs 5,700 approximately). The smartphone will go on sale in select countries in Europe, APAC, IMEA around February, 2015.

Microsoft has recently launched Limited Golden Edition of Lumia 830 and Lumia 930.
