Micromax Canvas Tab P-480 7-inch voice calling tablet launched in India for Rs 6999

Micromax Canvas Tab P-480 has been launched in India. It is the third tablet in the revamped Canvas Tab series after the P470 and Intel-powered Canvas Tab P666.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P-480 features a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat but Micromax promises to upgrade it to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS soon.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P-480 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet supports Dual SIM and has voice calling capabilities. It comes with features like Quick Look, Camera Widget and Multitasking.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P-480 includes 3G (voice calling), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, USB as connectivity options. The tablet packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood which promises up to 9 hours of talk time on 2G, 3.5 hours of video playback, 3 hours of browsing time and 169 hours of standby time.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P-480 is available in blue and white colour variants and has been priced at Rs 6,999. It will be sold across retail stores in India from last week of April. The box comes with complementary accessories like OTG cable and screen guard. The company recently launched Canvas Spark exclusively on Snapdeal. First flash sale on April 29.
