The Micromax Canvas Spark is going on open sale for the first time in India on July 27-28. It was launched exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 4,999 back in April.
Micromax Informatics has broken all records yet again as they have sold more than half a million Canvas Spark smartphones in less than two and half months. This lead to a revenue of Rs 2.5 billion from its most popular affordable 3G smartphone. Thus, the Canvas Spark is finally going on open sale for the first time ever on July 27-28. It will be available exclusively on Snapdeal for Rs 4,999.

The Micromax Canvas Spark features a 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The Canvas Spark comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone supports Dual SIM and also comes with 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio.
The Canvas Spark includes 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.
