Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 launched in India for Rs 5999

Micromax announced two new Selfie-focused smartphones in India today – the Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 and Canvas Selfie 3 Q348. We will look at the specifications and features of Selfie 2 in this story.


Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 Specifications

The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Canvas Selfie 2 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, OmniVision (OV5648) sensor and 4P lens. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision (OV5670) sensor and 4P lens for superior selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM and also has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.

On the connectivity front, the Canvas Selfie 2 includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 is available in Black colour with leather-like finish and has been priced at Rs 5,999. It will go on sale starting from August 22 across both offline and online retailers in India. The company launched Canvas Selfie Lens back in June.
