Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 smartphone launched in India for Rs 5999

Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 is the latest smartphone from Micromax in the Canvas series. It is a budget smartphone priced at Rs 5,999 which will compete with the likes of Redmi 1s and Lenovo A6000 to name a few. The company recently launched the Bolt A82Canvas Hue and also two new feature phones called Joy X1800 and Joy X1850. Let us go through the specifications of the smartphone.


Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 Specifications

The Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display which is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and hopefully it will be getting an upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future.

The Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 comes with a 5 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM with dual standby and also has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with apps like Ask ME, Clean master, Dr. Safety, Snapdeal, Quikr, True Caller, Opera Mini, Saavn, MAd, Start Innovation lock screen app, App centre, Language solution and more.


On the connectivity front, the Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.  The smartphone packs in a 1,700 mAh battery under the hood.

The Micromax Canvas Pep Q371 is available in Mystic Blue and Pristine White colour and has been priced at Rs 5,999. It is available across Indian offline and online stores starting today, February 18, 2015.
