Micromax Canvas Hue announced in India priced at Rs 10,999

Micromax Canvas Hue was launched by the company today which becomes the latest smartphone in the Canvas series. Micromax’s sister concern YU’s first device will go on sale today at 2pm on Amazon India. Only 10,000 units will be available and more than three lakh people have registered for the same. Let us have a look at the specifications of the latest Canvas phone.


Micromax Canvas Hue

The Micromax Canvas Hue features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and the company has promised it will be getting updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.

The Micromax Canvas Hue comes with a 8-megapixel auto-focus rear primary camera with LED flash which has a Sony sensor. On the front, it has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.

On the connectivity front, the Micromax Canvas Hue includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.  The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Micromax Canvas Hue will be available in White and Gold colour variant and has been priced at Rs 10,999. The device will be available all over India starting January 16.
