Micromax Canvas Fire 5 with Android Marshmallow launched in India for Rs 6199

Couple of days back, Micromax Canvas Fire 5 was officially launched in India. It is the latest smartphone in the Fire series that comes with dual front-facing speakers and also features Auro 3D sound, which promises loud and clear sound. The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can also be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

The Canvas Fire 5 comes with a 8 megapixel primary rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio, dual speakers and Auro 3D sound.

The Canvas Fire 5 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 5 is available in Grey, Silver and Champagne color variants. It has been priced at Rs 6,199 in India and will come with 6 months free premium subscription of Gaana for unlimited song downloads.
