Micromax Canvas Fire 4 with Android 5.0 Lollipop launched in India for Rs 6999

Amidst all the MWC announcements, back home in India Micromax has launched the Canvas Fire 4 smartphone priced at Rs 6,999. The company recently launched Canvas Selfie A255 for Rs 15,999.


Since the Micromax Canvas Fire 4 belongs to the Fire series, it comes with dual front facing firing speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) digital analogue converter offering the best audio. Lets go through the specifications of the device.

Micromax Canvas Fire 4 Specifications


The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 comes with a 8 megapixel rear primary camera with dual LED flash. On the front, it has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM with dual standby and also has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. The smartphone has dual front facing firing speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) as well.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 includes 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.  The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4 is available in Black and Silver colour variants and has been priced at Rs 6,999. The smartphone is now available across India on both online and offline stores.
