Micromax Bolt S302 budget smartphone launched in India for Rs 3199

Micromax Bolt S302 has been launched in India. It is one of the new budget smartphones in the Bolt series as the company has launched a few more. Lets take a look at the specifications.


Micromax Bolt S302 Specifications

The Micromax Bolt S302 features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) TN display that is powered by a 1.0 GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC7715 processor. It has 512 MB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It comes with Firstouch that is a patented translator functionality app to translate from English to local languages and vice versa.

The Micromax Bolt S302 comes with a 2 megapixel fixed-focus rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.

On the connectivity front, the Micromax Bolt S302 smartphone includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.1 and aGPS.  The smartphone packs in a 1,450 mAh battery under the hood.

The Micromax Bolt S302 has been priced at Rs 3,199 in India. Micromax Bolt Q331 and Bolt Q338 were also launched today. Airtel Customers purchasing these new phones will get 200MB of free data for WhatsApp usage or talk time worth Rs 40 per month for five months. This offer can be activated by visiting from the phone’s browser.

The company has signed up stand-up comedian, Kapil Sharma for North and actor, Rana Daggubati for South to promote these devices via a series of ads.
