Xiaomi will sell both the variants of Mi 4 on Flipkart today (February 24). The 16GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999 will go on sale at 2PM and the 64GB variant priced at Rs 23,999 will go on sale for the first time at 5PM today.
Mi 4 64GB variant which was launched in India for Rs 23,999 will go on sale today for the very first time at 5PM on Flipkart. We do not have any information on the number of units available but it would be around 20,000-25,000 units.
One week ago, 35,000 units of Mi 4 went on sale and only 30 minutes were given to place the final order. There was no official confirmation of the device getting sold out. Thus, we are expecting around 20,000-30,000 units today. OnePlus has also launched the OnePlus One 16GB Silk White variant priced at Rs 18,999 which will go on sale today as well for the first time. So there will be very tough competition between both the 16GB variants.
It will be interesting to note if the 64GB variant gets sold out in “x seconds” when it goes on its pilot sale. Although, the OnePlus One 64GB Sandstone Black variant is available for Rs 21,999 exclusively on Amazon India. Hence, greater competition for Xiaomi as its devices are priced higher compared to OnePlus One.
In case, you have pre-registered to buy any of the two variants, do not forget to login to Flipkart around 1:50 PM and 4:50 PM, as sale starts at 2 PM and 5 PM.
