Meizu PRO 6 was supposed to be revealed a couple of days back but the company chose to launch its new budget phablet, Meizu m3 note. However, an official image of the PRO 6 has been revealed by the company and it looks stunning in ‘Black’. Also, the company has also started sending out invites for an event on April 13 in Beijing. The teaser confirms that the company will launch the “PRO 6” on April 13. Now lets check out the rumoured specifications of the upcoming flagship device.
Meizu PRO 6 Rumoured Specifications
The Meizu PRO 6 will feature a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It will be powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 8890 64-bit processor. It will have 4 or 6 GB of RAM and come with different internal storage variants, which can also be expanded via microSD card. The device will run on Flyme OS out of the box based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow (or Lollipop).
The PRO 6 will rock a 21.6 megapixel rear camera, like the Meizu PRO 5 and come with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 6P lens, Laser Auto Focus, Sony IMX230 Exmor RS BSI sensor and PDAF. It will record 4K videos. On the front, it will have a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will come with a full metal body made up of magnesium alloy frame along with mBack touch-sensitive home button, which will offer different functions based on press. Also, will include the mTouch 2.1 fingerprint recognition technology for payments using mPay.
The PRO 6 will include 4G LTE (TD-LTE/FDD-LTE), 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, VoLTE and USB 3.0 Type-C (reversible) as connectivity options. The phablet will pack in a 3,500 mAh battery under the hood that will support fast charging.
