Meizu PRO 6 might come with a 10-LED flash system

The latest upcoming flagship phablet from Meizu, the PRO 6 is scheduled to launch on April 13, 2016 at an event in Beijing, China. An official image of the PRO 6 has been revealed by the company and it looks stunning in ‘Black’. Now, according to a report on Gizmochina, the device will come with not one, two or three but 10 LEDs.

If you look at the official image (above) of the Meizu PRO 6, you’ll find a ring around the Laser Auto Focus system below the rear primary camera. So, there is no point for guessing where the 10 LED flash system will get placed, since no other LED flash can be seen anywhere.

We can always argue about the need of a 10 LED flash setup but then we can also argue about the need of 6GB RAM in a smartphone or 4K displays. Hence, the more the merrier for the consumers, as long as it helps in better performance. Lets take a look at the rumoured specifications of the device.

Meizu PRO 6 Rumoured Specifications

The Meizu PRO 6 will feature a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. It will be powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 8890 64-bit processor. It will have 4 or 6 GB of RAM and come with different internal storage variants, which can also be expanded via microSD card. The PRO 6 will rock a 21.6 megapixel rear camera, like the Meizu PRO 5 and come with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 6P lens, Laser Auto Focus, Sony IMX230 Exmor RS BSI sensor and PDAF. It will record 4K videos. On the front, it will have a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will come with a full metal body made up of magnesium alloy frame along with mBack touch-sensitive home button, which will offer different functions based on press.
