Meizu m3 smartphone gets certified by TENAA in China

Meizu has recently announced the budget phablet m3 note and flagship PRO 6 in China. However, it looks like the company has not finished yet and is gearing up to launch the successor of the budget smartphone m2, the Meizu m3. It has been certified by TENAA in China. Lets go through the rumoured specifications of the smartphone.


Meizu m3 Rumoured Specifications

The Meizu m3 will sport a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display that will be powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor. It will come with 2 GB of RAM and 16 / 32 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme OS 5.1 / YUNOS 3.1.6 on top of it.

On the camera front, the m3 will rock a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It will come with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It will support Hybrid Dual SIM. It will have a plastic body that is 8.3 mm thick and weigh 130.7 grams.

The m3 will come with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS / GLONASS as connectivity options. The smartphone will pack in a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood.

The Meizu m3 will be available in Gold, Gray, Pink, White and Blue color variants. It is rumoured to be priced at CNY 599 (US $92 / INR Rs 6,163 approximately) for the 16 GB ROM edition whereas the 32 GB ROM variant will cost CNY 799 (US $123 / INR Rs 8,221 approximately).
