Meizu, a Chinese global smartphone brand has forayed into the Nepal market by announcing the launch of M3 note and M3s at a press conference in Kathmandu, Nepal on September 19. The M3 note phablet has been priced at NRs. 24,995 and the M3s smartphone costs NRs. 21,495.
Meizu has tied up with a large network of retail distributors across Nepal to sell both these smartphone via offline mode. The M3 note was launched in India back in May but the company might launch the M3s in India in the near future. Check out the features of these smartphones below.
Meizu M3 note Specifications
The Meizu M3 note features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD LTPS 2.5D curved glass display, which churns out 450 nits of brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor along with Mali T860 GPU. It has 3 GB of RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal storage (eMMC 5.1), which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Flyme OS 5.1 on top of it.
The M3 note comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), 5P lens. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens for selfies and video calling. The phablet is 8.3 mm thick, weighs 163 grams and supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano / microSD card). It comes with the mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor, which has been embedded into the home button. It can unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
The M3 note includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a massive 4,100 mAh battery under the hood that promises up to 17 hours of video playback. The Meizu M3 note is available in Gray, Gold and Silver color variants.
Meizu M3s Specifications
The Meizu M3s features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 (Quad 1.5 GHz A53 + Quad 1.0 GHz A53) processor along with Mali T860 GPU. It has 2 / 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes in 16 / 32 storage variants (eMMC 5.0) along with expandable memory of up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on FlyMe OS 5.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The M3s comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and 5P lens. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 4P lens for selfies and video calling. It has an all metal body, which also features a mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.
The M3s includes 4G with VoLTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/GLONASS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 3,020 mAh battery under the hood. The Meizu M3s is available in Silver, Grey and Gold color variants.
