Meizu m2 smartphone has been officially announced, after being spotted on TENAA in China. It is the successor of Meizu M1, launched earlier this year. Lets have a look at the specifications and features.

The Meizu m2 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS fully laminated display, which is protected by AGC Dragontrail glass. It has a pixel density of 296ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor along with Mali T720 GPU. It has 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Flyme 4.5 OS on top of it.
The m2 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lenses. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lenses for selfies and video calling. It also has FotoNotion 2.0 smart selfie enhancement and Face AE face light boost. The smartphone is 8.7 mm thick and weighs just 131 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM where the second SIM slot (nano) can be used to insert microSD card.
The m2 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS and GLONASS as connectivity options. The smartphone packs in a 2,500 mAh battery under the hood.
The Meizu m2 is available in Blue, Pink, Grey and White colour variants and has been priced at CNY 599 (US $96 / INR Rs 6,150 approximately) in China.
