Couple of days back, Meizu MX5 was announced at an event in China. However, the company also announced two other devices, which we shall talk about today. It’s the Meizu 10000mAh power bank with two-way fast charging and Depth-VR.
Meizu 10000mAh power bank Specifications
The power bank designed by Meizu is simple and elegant which promises 93% charging conversion rate. It is also the first power bank to come with two-way fast charging, so that we can charge the power bank quickly and also charge the MX5 with mCharge. It charges up to 58% in 30 minutes and 100% in just 83 minutes.
The device has lithium-ion polymer batteries that are manufactured by Chinese battery maker Amperex Technology Limited (ATL). They also supply batteries for Apple Inc. It comes with power indicator LEDs along with a micro USB charging port and a full USB port. It is a secure device with 11 stages of protection and measures 143.5mm x 75.4mm x 17.4mm. It comes with 9V-2A / 12V-1.5A output for fast charging and 5V-1A or 9V / 12V-2A input and 5V-2A output for normal charging.
It has been priced at 149 CNY (US $24 / INR Rs 1,520 approximately) and is on sale via crowdfunding on jd.com in China. No information on global availability yet.
The company is on a roll and has also launched Depth-VR, a Google Cardboard-like virtual reality cardboard. It has been priced at 49 CNY (US $8 / INR Rs 500 approximately) and will go on sale in China sometime in July.
