Marshall London with high-quality audio to launch on August 21 for USD 590

Marshall Headphones, a pioneer in the audio business is coming out with a smartphone focused on high-quality audio. The smartphone has been named London.


The Marshall London is dubbed as a multimedia powerhouse which will also incorporate a bunch of unique audio features along with Marshalls signature design elements. Lets check out the specifications and special features.

The London features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can be expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box with customized music applications.

The Marshall London rocks a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports single SIM only and that is a nano SIM. It is 9.8 mm thick and weighs 145 grams.

The speciality of the phone is that it has two 3.5 mm audio jacks which is placed between a dedicated ‘M’ button at the top, to easily access the Music collection. There are two speakers on the front, one above and one below the display. Also, the volume rocker is replaced by a scroll wheel at the right side to adjust volume. It also comes with a built-in high-quality amplifier and include a set of Marshall earphones out of the box.

On the connectivity front, it has 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 with BLE & aptX, GPS and GLONASS. It packs in a 2,500 mAh removable battery under the hood.
