LG X5 with Android Marshmallow goes official in Korea

LG has announced two new smartphones in the X series – X5 and X Skin in Korea, along with the LG X Power, that was announced last month. Lets check out the specifications and features of the LG X5 here.

LG X5 Specifications

The LG X5 features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, that is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.

It is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It is 7.2 mm thick and weighs 133 grams.

On the connectivity front, the X5 has 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and GPS. The phablet packs in a 2,800 mAh battery under the hood.

LG X5 X Power and X Skin launched in Korea

The LG X5 is available in Indigo Black and White color variants. It has been priced at Rs 200,000 Korean won (US $174 / INR Rs 11,678 approximately). The LG X Power smartphone also comes in same color variant and will cost the same whereas the LG X Skin has been priced at 231,000 Korean won (US $201 / INR Rs 13,488 approximately) and is available in Titanium and Gold colors.
