LG X screen with secondary display now selling in Europe

LG Mobiles had announced two new smartphones in their new X series – LG X screen and X cam, ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona last month. Now, the LG X screen smartphone has gone on sale in Europe. The black color variant of the device is currently listed on in the Netherlands for €343.64 (US $387 / INR Rs 25,699 approximately).


LG X screen Specifications

The LG X screen features a 4.93-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS In-Cell Touch display along with a 1.76-inch (520 x 80 pixels) LCD secondary ticker display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OSout of the box.

The X screen rocks a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It is 7.1 mm thick and weighs 120 grams. The secondary display will be ‘Always On’, like the upcoming LG G5. This will help the users to easily access frequently used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity or play music. In addition, consumers can check battery status, date, time and other notifications without even unlocking the device.

The LG X screen packs in 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC (optional) and GPS, as connectivity options. The smartphone has a 2,300 mAh battery under the hood.


The LG X screen is available in Black, White and Pink Gold color variants. As mentioned earlier, it will start rolling out in key markets like Asia, Latin America and Europe from March 2016.
