LG Wine Smart flip phone with Android 5.1 Lollipop announced

LG Wine Smart flip phone has been officially announced by the company for the International markets. It is the successor of the Wine Smart launched last year. Lets check out the specifications.

The LG Wine Smart flip phone features a 3.2-inch (480 x 320 pixels) touch screen display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. It has a T9 keypad along with a dedicated Q button, which will allow the users to instantly activate the most frequently used apps.

On the camera front, the Wine Smart rocks a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for your selfies and video calling. The smartphone weighs 143 grams and is 16.6 mm thick. It has 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio as well. It has a soft leather-like finish throughout the body.

The Wine Smart comes with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as connectivity options. It packs in a 1,700 mAh battery under the hood.


The LG Wine Smart flip phone is available in Navy and Burgundy colour variants and is already selling in Korea named as LG Gentle for 200,000 South Korean Won (US $172 / INR Rs 10,950 approximately). It will go on sale in Italy, France, Poland, Spain, Kazakhstan and Japan starting this month itself. The company will reveal the pricing and availability at the time of local launch.
