LG Watch Urbane launching via Google Store in 13 countries including India starting from April 24

LG Watch Urbane was announced ahead of MWC 2015 back in February. The smartwatch powered by Android Wear will be launching in 13 countries starting tomorrow via Google Store.


The LG Watch Urbane is going on sale in Australia, Germany, Canada, France, India, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Italy, Spain, Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States via Google Store. Korea is the first country where the watch will roll out tomorrow (April 24) for 396,000 Korean Won (US $366 / INR Rs 23,150 approximately). We will get to know about its pricing in other countries when it’s launched locally.

LG Watch Urbane Specifications


The LG Watch Urbane has a 1.3-inch (320 x 320) P-OLED display with 245 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The smartwatch comes with 512 MB of LPDDR2 RAM and it has 4 GB of internal storage (eMMC). Its dimensions are 45.5 x 52.2 x 10.9 mm.

The LG Watch Urbane is dust and water-resistant (IP67) as well and it can stay in water up to one meter deep for 30 minutes. The smartwatch rocks a 410 mAh battery. It runs on Android Wear 5.0.2 OS and is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and above.

The LG Watch Urbane comes with 9-axis (Gyro/Accelerometer/Compass) sensor, Barometer and photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor to measure heartbeats. The smartwatch will be available in polished silver and gold finish variants.
