According to LG, around 10,000 units were sold per day at an average. Also, the company said it was popular among the younger generation, with 37% of its US consumers aged between 25 and 34.

The LG V10 features a 5.7-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD In-cell Touch Quantum display that has a pixel density of 513 ppi. There is another 2.1-inch (1040 x 160 pixels) IPS Quantum Display that also comes with a pixel density of 513 ppi. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor along with Adreno 418 GPU. It has 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and comes with 64 GB of internal memory that can also be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with LG UX 4.0 custom skin on top of it. The updated OS from LG comes with a lot of new features retaining some proprietary software like Knock On, KnockCode and health app.
The second display will let the user view information like weather, date, time and battery icon while the main display is off. There is also an option to set it to always-on. The users can set shortcuts of their favourite apps in the second screen to launch them quickly. Notifications can be displayed on them discreetly without blocking the view of the main screen.
The V10 rocks a 16 megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash, Optical Image stabilization (OIS) 2.0, F/1.8 aperture, Laser Auto Focus. It can also record 4K videos. It comes with a manual mode for video to adjust options like shutter speed, frame rate, ISO, white balance and focus while recording.
On the front, there is a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with dual lens setup – one has 80-degree standard angle and another comes with 12-degree wide-angle. Now, that is a fancy selfie camera. “For the wide-angle shot, the V10 employs a sophisticated software algorithm to combine images from the two separate lenses which are just far enough apart to provide two different points of view”, according to LG. There is also a multi-view recording option that will capture at different angles utilizing all the three cameras.
The phablet has a 8.6 mm thick body that weighs 192 grams. The frame is made up of SAE grade 316L stainless steel that will ensure maximum durability and the soft Dura Skin on the bottom and the back offers protection from direct impacts. According to LG, the phone also meets the US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G to withstand a fall of up to 1.2 meters. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back. It comes with a 32 bit Hi-Fi DAC by ESS Technology for enhanced audio output and Qualcomm Technologies’ TruSignal antenna boost technology that intelligently optimizes signal strength to reduce dropped calls, faster data and better call coverage.
The LG V10 includes 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and Slim Port as connectivity options. The phablet packs in a 3,000 mAh removable battery that supports Quick Charge 2.0 and the phone charges from 0 to 50 in just 40 minutes. The LG V10 is available in Space Black, Modern Beige, Luxe White, Ocean Blue and Opal Blue color variants.
